the cyclist 02:12
earthquakes dont happen much in p.a. but when they come you feel the softest shake like a phone call set to vibrate you just keep on as if nothing changed given the choice, i’d write everything in lowercase and decorate my space in blues and yellows on a bright morning with no recall of tougher days in life’s seesaw i been around enough and i’ve seen what i can do been around enough and i’ve seen what voids i’ll fill change can't wait gimme everything a season can spray i like it that way, rotating order im the cyclist, ill leapfrog from whim to whim, escape to escape

and so we drive all night silent til the morning frickin pickin our lives and the fallen and flipping over the ice just so anybody'd found you and then the sun comes up foggin up the windshield a flicker in your eyes like a forcefield and order in your aisle cause what could we do without you and i never woulda loved if you never woulda helped me and ill take the time to take the wrong way bettin on a chance theres a place to turnaround and so were all mixed up the fire was on a sunday breaking on trial while everybodys yawnin every sun child breaks well then i wont break down and i never woulda run if you never woulda helped me and youre right to cryy and its a long day taking on a sham that you finally turn around and i never woulda loved if you never woulda helped me and ill take the time to take the wrong way bettin on a chance theres a place to turnaround

flipside 02:15
you got your hopes up down in a ditch i think its only right that you win and with your debt spent off to collection i think its only right that you win inside outside meet me on the flipside like a film noir plot untwists i think its only right that you win after the full moon messed with your head i think its only right that you win inside outside meet me on the flipside and you were so worked up in the trenches i think its only right that you win then you were hosed down off of existence i think its only right that you win inside outside meet me on the flipside

without warning everything can change let’s ride down a coastal highway there’s a time and place for the seats or the stage there’s the weekend and i’ve heard there’s other days well i’ve been writing riddles and i’m lost in the middle of em i’ve been racing my thoughts like a fiddle in a breakdown leading the charge everyone tries to keep up i got a notebook with a couple blank pages left a list of license plate ideas are taking up too much space see i’ve been writing riddles and i’m getting tired of sending them out like a postcard tied to a balloon you see start to fall not too far off you gotta take chase i’m not asking you to solve anything at all i’m not asking you for that much i’m not asking for much i’m not asking for all of you i’m the low man on the totem again but at least i’m here rockin a foundation i’ve been writing riddles some easy some impossible just lining up my thoughts a mandala you trash after making well i’ve been leaving mine up hoping they catch on

other forms 03:09
they were riding up to the ceiling the waves of different seasonings in the bright kitchen with the record changes and the cats come out in amazement and i hold that i’ve arrived and i’m okay with it time’s been ticking i just never saw it and i would reckon never gave much thought im in the right place i dont wanna go in the silence of the old tv we charge up our tea leaves and the trash that wasnt taken outside blows back down the alleys and i’ve held another door another day a different store a different face and i’ve gone on record saying that i’ve changed i haven’t changed just took another form with the full moon in the window and the day times out with me dreaming and the cell phone tower frequencies talk above my breathing i found another point are you gonna find out? i’ll never change i’ll just take other forms when im on record saying that i’ll change i haven’t changed just took another form
